Jerry Reese and company have done it again.
Less than 24 hours after it appeared that they would lose out on the services of DE Chris Canty to either Seattle or Green Bay, Adam Schefter of NFL.com is reporting that the Giants and the former Dallas UFA have come to an agreement on a six-year, $42 million contract that includes $17.25 million in guaranteed money.
The Giants are now three-for-three in free agency signings. And it will be interesting to see what happens with their suddenly crowded defensive tackle group. I'll have more on that in the daily wrap up available later tonight.
