Here is our latest installment in our summer-time series, “Remembering Giants Stadium.” We encourage our readers to share their memories of the stadium with us as one we conclude our series, we’d like to feature YOUR memories. Send your submissions to editor@insidefootball.com with the subject line “Giants Stadium Memories.”
Giants 17 –Tampa 14: This rather non-descript regular season game was special for me on a personal level because it was the first game I ever attended in person at Giants Stadium. I went with my dad, who’s been a season ticket holder for longer than I’ve been alive (barely). To make the day even more special, that game launched a new era in Giants football as a quarterback by the name of Phil Simms came into the game, and took control of the game. Sure, he had some bumps along the way but the Giants never looked back once Simms took over. I’m proud to admit that to this day, Simms' jersey is the only one I've ever purchased.

Editor's Note: , I’m checking out for some R&R before camp. but not to worry as the blog will continue during my absence. We’ll continue running my list of memories as scheduled (next installment is on Monday) and we will bring you any late-breaking news. I’ll do Letters to the Editor (LTTE) when I return in mid-July.
Have a great summer!
